LOL Goodman Band – Rock and Blues

Jon Firth retires as drummer

breaknews

Jon Firth here…

After nearly five years with the best bunch of guys, the best band, the best experiences and the best music I have ever played I have decided to change roles within the band and from now on will be representing the band as their full time manager.

Experienced session drummer Tony Crabtree has joined the band as my permanent replacement on drums.

Additionally, Lol has brought in Angie and Jane “The Cougars” on backing vocals so overall brilliant, exciting changes for the band and I am really looking forward to handling their affairs full time.

This is a great band that continues to grow its fan base, so you will be hearing from me on a regular basis with updates on future releases and band news in general.

Cheers,  Jon

WELCOME TO OUR NEW DRUMMER.

Anthony (Crabby) Crabtree:         dscf3046

Tony grew up surrounded by music. His older brother was a ‘club’ organist and Tony started out on drums with his brother backing acts in the local club at the age of 10.  He later toured the UK and Europe with some respected rock / funk bands in the late 70’s before moving to L.A. to work as a session drummer in some eminent studios. Tony and Phil have played live gigs and sessions together for over 26 years and now look forward to taking their partnership to the Lol Goodman Band for many more years.
