Well, last weekend in STUDIO STUDIO Recording Studio in Rochdale we did the final mix of our second album “TAUTOLOGY” and we’re really proud of the result and excited about the response it will get when we submit it for reviews in the blues magazine and for airtime on the various blues radio programmes.  We anticipate release in early April and there wil be an article + photos + advert + review going in the April issue of Blues in Britain magazine.  BUZZIN’!!!!!!!!!

Still getting good news coming through.  The True Blues Club which operates out of The Earlestown Conservative Club,  Newton-le-Willows once a month have invited us to play on Friday 7th February.  A glance at their gig list will show that they have the best bands from the UK & abroad including the USA (Ryan McGarvey & The Billy Walton Band)

With all the good news we’ve been getting recently I suppose you must expect a little bad news.  Just heard this week that at the end of January The Wishing Well in Heywood is to stop putting on live bands.  In fact our gig there on Saturday 25th January is to be the very last live gig.  The three other dates we had there this year have been cancelled.  The Wishing Well has been a bastion of live music for over ten years and will be sorely missed by anyone involved with a band. Also this week we found out that Blues at The Old No. 7 in Barnsley, the project  started by Les Young of Wall to Wall Promotions and blues show presenter at Penistone FM, has been cancelled.  Our gig there on Friday 7th March has been pulled. Got to get the phone lines buzzing again now to try and fill these dates.  Anyone out there give us a gig?

This Saturday, we are at one of Manchester’s newest music venues The Eagle Inn.  Check it out, it’s a fantastic room with a decent sized stage, in-house sound system and lighting and great beer!!

More great news on the gigs front.  Matt & Phreds Jazz Club, 64 Tib Street Northern Quarter, Manchester have just booked us for Wednesday 5th March.  Great little venue with fantastic atmosphere. http://www.mattandphreds.com/diary/lol-goodman-band Good week that week with Cockermouth’s Saints Room supporting Chantel McGregor on the previous Sunday.

2014
January.LGB 2014 Tour.

2014 is looking even better with gigs already confirmed at some great pub venues; some old, some new.  But,more importantly, the emergence of the band as a major player on the blues scene is being recognized with invitations to play at top blues venues;  Tilt Blues Bar in Nottingham,  Saints Room in Cockermouth,  Welcome Inn in Whitefield and BJs Rock in the Blues Club, Chorley among others.  Keep a look out on the Gigs Page for future dates. Blues Festivals in 2014 are starting to be confirmed, the first one being Nantwich Jazz & Blues Festival in April.  Expecting at least another three to be confirmed. Our main tour this year (see opposite) will no doubt be interrupted on at least a weekly basis to appear at establishments around the surrounding area.  Watch the Gigs page on this website and our Facebook page. We are hopeful that our supporters from The  A of N E C S D W & T S C  AFFILIATED will also find time to support us at our other gigs.  As you can see on the photo, they are a particularly sparkling bevy of beauties.  And they can hold their beer!
